Seo serves as the head of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services Practice in Asia Pacific and is a member of the Asia-Pacific Operating Committee. He is based in the Tokyo office.
He is passionate about developing people and partnering with clients on their most pressing challenges. With more than three decades of experience in consulting and financial services, Seo has advised leading financial institutions, corporations, governments, and social impact organizations around the world on strategy, finance and risk, operations, M&A, and digital transformation.
One aspect of his work he finds especially rewarding is helping large financial institutions in Asia Pacific evolve into prominent global players with world-class capabilities — a journey that demands vision, ambition, and resilience.

Seo is a graduate of Columbia University, where he majored in engineering. Outside of work, he stays busy cooking with his children, playing the drums, going to the gym, and taking long walks with his earbuds in.
