Paula is the general counsel, chief compliance officer, and chief of staff for Oliver Wyman and Marsh Management Consulting.
She joined the legal and compliance department of Marsh in 2003 as the second lawyer supporting the Oliver Wyman businesses. She was appointed deputy general counsel in 2010, general counsel in 2012, and chief of staff in 2024.
During her time at Oliver Wyman, Paula has advised senior leaders on a broad range of business matters, including firm acquisitions, strategic hires and geographic expansion in support of the company’s growth strategy. She has also held several roles within Marsh’s legal, compliance and public affairs functions. From 2017 to 2021, she served as head of enterprise risk management for Marsh, overseeing the company’s risk management department.

Prior to joining the firm, Paula was a mergers and acquisitions lawyer with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, and prior to that, with Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts.
Paula holds an AB in psychology and political science from Duke University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
When not working, Paula cheers on her daughters’ soccer teams and runs through Central Park in New York City. The highlight of her athletic accomplishments was finishing the New York City marathon, which was her first marathon — and might be her last.
