Matt is a Managing Partner and Head of Asia Pacific. He leads Oliver Wyman’s business across the region, bringing 30 years of experience as both a consultant and a senior banking executive.
Currently based in Singapore, he previously led our Financial Services Practice in Europe and established our Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) Practice in Asia.

The region is undergoing rapid transformation — driven by evolving supply chains, technological advances, and the net‑zero transition — which is creating big opportunities as well as significant complexity
Throughout his career, Matt has guided major institutions through a wide range of strategic and transformational challenges. His work spans advising clients on organic and inorganic growth opportunities, as well as helping them respond to disruption driven by technology, competition, regulation, and geopolitical change.
Matt holds a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge in economics and modern languages, and speaks fluent French and Spanish.
