Francois is a partner in Oliver Wyman’s Energy and Natural Resources practice and co-head of the firm’s global Climate and Sustainability platform.
His approach to strategy and change is shaped by a combination of curiosity, pragmatism, commercial judgment, and a strong focus on people. He advises clients on strategy, post-merger integration, leadership development, and risk management, helping organizations navigate complex transitions and turn ambition into practical change.

Francois has lived and worked in London, Paris, Rotterdam, and the United States, and has advised oil and gas and utility clients across North and South America, Europe, and the Middle East.
He has also contributed to several management books, including The Discipline of Market Leaders and Surfing on the Edge of Chaos, and co-authored Strategic Thinking in Tactical Times.
Outside of work, Francois enjoys sailing, skiing, traveling, and mountaineering. He is also interested in private equity investing, non-executive roles, and supporting the continued evolution of Oliver Wyman, while making time for his family.
