Bob is a partner in Oliver Wyman’s Energy and Natural Resources practice, based in Houston. He advises oil and gas companies and investors on strategies to drive value and deliver lasting performance improvement.

His experience spans the upstream and downstream oil and gas sectors, energy and petroleum services, fuels and convenience retail, and private equity.

Bob works with clients on corporate and business strategy, business model development, organizational design, and large-scale transformation. He also advises on transactions, from due diligence and post-acquisition strategy to the integration of assets, networks, and organizations.

Before joining Oliver Wyman, Bob was an international economist with the US Department of Commerce. In this role, he analyzed global industrial markets, developed strategies to address trade barriers, and participated in negotiations with government officials from Japan, the European Union, and ASEAN countries at the GATT in Geneva.

Bob holds an MBA in strategic management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a master of international affairs from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from the University of Denver.
