Double Quotes
I believe success comes from delivering both interim results and long‑term impact, and from pragmatically resolving the tensions between them. This applies broadly, but it’s especially critical in the public sector

Rajat began his career in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), serving in the Rajasthan cadre across district administration, state planning, and finance roles. During this time, he managed governance and civic systems, oversaw rural and urban development initiatives, supported state‑level elections, and evaluated public expenditure priorities across social and economic sectors. This experience shaped his ability to build stakeholder alignment and deliver public impact at scale — capabilities that continue to define his work today.

He later transitioned into global consulting, where his work has evolved into two complementary areas of strength: driving public sector transformation and shaping growth across industrial and infrastructure ecosystems. He has advised on growth strategies, organisational transformation, and long‑term capability building, and has led programs across transport, urban infrastructure, state growth and finances, skills, education, environment, energy, tourism, and industry and investment attraction.

He holds an MBA from London Business School, a Master of Arts in economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts (honors) in economics from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi.

Beyond work, Rajat enjoys trekking in the hills and exploring new cultures and cuisines while traveling. He is an avid Arsenal supporter and enjoys concerts featuring soft rock, as well as Indian and Western classical music.
